22 July 2007 - Further issues relating to compliance with planning conditions have arisen over the St Andrews St Development. These are being taken up directly with Caradon Planning and more news will follow in due course. Further photographs of the development can be found

16 June 2007 - A row has erupted over the St Andrew Street Substation, Cawsand. This has been built without planning permission under 'permitted development' rights by Western Power in an Area of Oustatanding Natural Beauty and without the requisuite approvals from Caradon Planning. The Parish Council are seeking enforcement action.

Coombe Park Play Area The first £19k has now been spent on new safety fencing around the site and the two springers for the younger people have also been installed. Outside the fenced area a sports Arena has been installed offering a goal and basket ball ring which has proved popular with the youth of the area. We are still awaiting to hear whether we have been successful in our bid for another £60k from the National Lottery via Caradon District Council
7th June 06 - Public Meeting on Car Parking Over fifty residents attended the Public Meeting in The Institute to discuss the future of Car Parking in Kingsand/Cawsand. Representatives from Caradon District Council and Cornwall County Council attended to offer advise and to listen to the ideas put forward. All with internet access should keep an eye on CCC website where we are promised that a Traffic Regulation Order Form will be placed and all can comment on its content.
